Qur'an section from the second Sura Fatimid Egypt, 10th-12th century
A huge Arabic manuscript on paper composed of 11 folios, each one of 11 lines to the page written in muhaqqaq script in black ink and red diacritical marks separated by golden rosettes with red and light blu details. Disc shaped and cuspid cartouches as section marks. Leather binding, possibly later, impressed with floral cartouche in the centre.
